Fund Marta's Wish

My sister, Marta is 31 years old, in February 2018 she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia which is a form of blood cancer. Marta has been hospitalised in Manchester since her diagnosis and she is currently undergoing her third stage of chemotherapy before she is scheduled to have a bone marrow / stem cell transplant next month. I am the Marta’s stem cell donor and I am currently looking after Marta’s two children, Jakub, age 11 and Casper, age 4 who haven’t seen their Mum since her diagnosis in February, as the hospital do not permit children to visit. Marta is a beloved sister, mother, wife, daughter, auntie, and most of all best friend. Marta has always dreamt of going on holiday but there’s always been other priorities holding her back from pursuing the dream. We planned to go on a family holiday Summer 2018 but unexpectedly Marta got sick . She attended A&E with a tooth infection, thinking she’d be discharged on the same day but since then the hospital became her second home. It is heart breaking to see my sister going through such pain but simultaneously I am extremely proud of her as she always tries to remain cheerful no matter of the obstacles. I wish I could take away the pain from her but we all know that impossible. Instead I want to give her something to look forward to. A DREAM HOLIDAY! Because we all know she will get through it all and survive it! ...please help make her dream come true and give as little or as much as you can. My workplace, Optimal Solicitors have supported our cause by holding a blood drive, to encourage staff to donate blood. We are also holding a bake off, with all funds raised going towards this cause.
