Help Fund a Revolution of New Solar Panels!

Hello Everyone! We are a startup called ASK and we are seeking $2000 worth of funds for Lab and Software equipment.
Our team consists of three passionate students from Stanford Online High School, eager to address a critical issue: traditional solar panels, while promising, suffer from significant energy loss of up to 20% during transmission due to external batteries. Moreover, prevalent solutions like lithium-ion batteries not only come with a hefty price tag (exceeding $10,000 per residential unit) but also leave a detrimental environmental footprint.
Over the past two years, we've been working on developing a new solution: We harness perovskite, a cutting-edge material with superior absorption coefficients and longer carrier lifetimes to silicon, as the cornerstone of our solar cell's light-absorbing layer, and we've pioneered a patented energy-storage technology that eliminates the need for cumbersome and costly external batteries. This approach ensures that our customers can enjoy the benefits of energy storage without the drawbacks of traditional models, all while maintaining the efficiency and cost-effectiveness seen in current solar panel offerings.
Last year, we participated in the Conrad Challenge, an international startup competition for high school students. There, industry experts and patent lawyers rigorously evaluated our idea and awarded us with the top prize winners in the energy and environment category. Now, we are hoping to take the next step in our journey by securing lab space and to further refine our prototype, and we find ourselves asking for your kind lending of a hand. Any donation is a great step in the right direction and we kindly appreciate your help!
