Funding Support for Erica Hordyk
Donation protected
My sister, Erica Hordyk, suffered a brain aneurysm in December 2021. After her left side suddenly went numb, a trip to the emergency room confirmed she had aneurysm at a concerning size that caused a stroke. With no local providers available to address her aneurysm urgently, she was flown to Madison where she received life saving care. Some of the physical damage from the aneurysm and stroke includes loss of feeling on her entire left side, difficulties with balance, and the loss of her left peripheral vision. Thankfully, she is starting her journey to recovery. She worked so hard in rehabilitation so she could finally be home with her 8 month old adorable son Cillian and her supportive partner, Josh. Erica is a devoted mother, fierce friend and hard worker (She makes the most beautiful and delicious Cakes!).
Erica will still have a long road of recovery ahead of her, with uncertainty as to how long she will be out of work as she recovers or if she will be able to return to work. To help support her we are hoping to raise $7,500. Even a small donation will make a difference in allowing their family to focus on Erica’s wellness during this difficult time. These donations will be used to cover her increased medical expenses and other mounting bills. If you can’t donate, but are willing to support, please share your positivity, prayers, and our page with your friends, family, and co-workers. Thank you for your time and support.
