Promise Productions, an ambitious company breaking away from Hollywood stereotypes. We are in the pre-production stages of our upcoming short film Rigor Mortis, where Steven, a worrisome 17 year old, attends his grandfather’s funeral with his family. Mourning is interrupted by the dysfunction of his relatives. Coping with the chaos, Steven smokes his worries away in the funeral home bathroom, only making his fears heightened. He returns to constant attacks and jabs from one relative to another, panicking at the sight. What has he become? What is real? Is he really that much different than the people he is disgusted by?
