Funding Progress to Cancer Research and Treatment

Why I Started This Charity

In March 2022, my mother was diagnosed with cancer. She spent weeks in the hospital undergoing treatment, and it was a difficult time, not just for her, but for everyone around her. Seeing a loved one go through cancer is incredibly tough, and it made me realise just how many families face the same challenge.

Cancer affects more than just the person diagnosed; it impacts families, friends, and entire communities. Almost everyone has been affected by it in some way, whether through a loved one’s diagnosis or their own experience. That’s why I started this charity, to help fund research, improve treatment options, and support those going through this battle.

No one should have to face cancer alone. With more resources, better treatments, and continued research, we can make a real difference in the lives of those affected.
Myself and a few of my friends from Wexford and Limerick will be shaving/dying our hair as part of the fundraiser.
