Full Title:
As Seen On Television
A Feature-Length Cinematic Presentation Constructed from the Aesthetic Conventions, Structural Limitations, Persuasive Language, and Institutional Confidence of Commercial Television Broadcasting, Including but Not Limited to Infomercials, Public Service Announcements, Product Demonstrations, and Official Messaging, All of Which Were Initially Produced Under the Assumption That Viewers Would Be Either Distracted, Fatigued, or Temporarily Unwilling Participants in the Viewing Process
About the Film:
Above, you see a proof of concept that was made for less than $100 by Jack Vinson and Colton Morgan.
As Seen On TV is an hour-and-a-half sketch comedy film following two characters who are put in charge of the NWO propaganda machine. Through a series of surreal vignettes, watch as the world bends and contorts under their propaganda. As tension and suspicion rise between our protagonists, viewers are left questioning: who is raising whom, and who will survive the machinery they’ve created? This film explores absurdity, manipulation, and the seductive power of media — all in one fully realized cinematic experience.
