Mackenzie, a lively and enthusiastic 7-year-old, tragically lost her life at Blossom Health Park in October 2023. She had a love for life and nature. She adored butterflies, ladybugs, roses, crystals/gems, the sun, the moon, and many other things. Above all, her essence was pure LOVE!

The City of St. Clair Shores and Mackenzie's Family are collaborating on a memorial dedicated to our beloved Angel Mackenzie. The memorial will be situated in her cherished spot at Blossom Heath Park near the beach. The design includes a serene Butterfly Garden, a Memorial Plaque, a Commemorative Bench, and relocating her beloved cement turtle to this tranquil space. A place of solace and remembrance.
