Funding Jeanette's Cremation and Celebration

As most of you know my name is Sonja, I am Jeanette's youngest daughter. My mother passed from complications of Advanced Vascular Dementia on June 16th at 3:00 a.m. learning this news was heartbreaking and soul shattering for myself, my sister, my children and my entire family. I am starting this fundraiser so that we can cremate my mother and have a celebration of life party at my home in the near future. We tried many times to insure my mother with life insurance, but because of her extenuating health circumstances we kept getting refunded our money and was told many times she was not insurable.

I was very hesitant with doing this GoFundMe, because I feel like my family has needed so much support over the last couple of months with my husband's heart attack and my mother's constant stays in the hospital and hospice. These situations have left our family in dire financial positions and we received a lot of help and support from friends and family, so much so, that I did not want to ask for help in this situation. Some good friends of mine convinced me to put my pride aside and to reach out for support, so here we are.

The amount of support we're asking for is simply for The Cremation and for the celebration of life. If you feel it in your heart to donate, we more than appreciate it!! If you cannot, then please just send prayers and well wishes to a deeply grieving family. We truly love and appreciate everyone who has reached out to us, please know that this is truly one of the most difficult times we've seen thus far.
