Funding for United Space School 2023

My name is Mateusz Mosciszko and am currently a student in Year 12. As an aspiring astrophysicist or aerospace engineer, I have started looking into international competitions that will help me achieve my goal of a career in STEM.
After winning an arduous admissions process which put me against other students from across the world, I will be representing England in the United Space School program, a once-in-a-lifetime 2-week long program in Houston, Texas where students from 28 different countries design their own manned mission to Mars under the mentorship of leaders in the aerospace industry. This program will provide me with valuable STEM knowledge and experience and boost my future career prospects whilst also acting as an ambassador for England and Leicestershire, as well as demonstrating to students just what can be achieved through dedication and hard work.
The fee for this program is $1000 USD, with flights to Houston being around £750 GBP. The rest is covered by FISE (Foundation for International Space Education). In most countries, this program is funded by the government or sponsor but not in England, so coming from a family of 5, this program is putting a lot of financial strain on my family, therefore any help in funding this program would not only be beneficial for me but also promote international cooperation in matters such as space exploration. Being unable to attend simply due to lack of funds would not only negatively impact me personally but the space industry as a whole, as inaccessibility to the space industry would surely prevent others from being a part of it as well.
