Hello everyone,

My name is Dasha Krepkova, I'm a final-year film student at EICAR University in Paris and I am raising funds to bring my creative project, a short film called "The Ode To Hope", to life.

The Ode To Hope is a deeply intimate short film about love, time, and the courage to truly live. Hope embraces each day with radiant joy while secretly facing a terminal illness, determined to capture every fleeting moment, while her boyfriend Erwin remains trapped in fear, unable to move forward with his own dreams. As her world quietly begins to fade, Hope’s unwavering spirit becomes a final gift—teaching Erwin, and all of us, that life is not meant to be waited on, but lived fully and fearlessly. After her sudden loss, he is left with fragments of her love: photographs, music, and memories, that slowly guide him toward transformation.

This film holds great importance to me as it represents my voice as a filmmaker and contains the stories I have been wanting to share with the world for a long time. The film explores themes that are deeply important to me, and I’m committed to telling it in a way that resonates, inspires, and stays with audiences long after the credits roll.

Creating a film is truly a team effort. Your support will go directly toward essential production costs like equipment, renting of locations, set design, costumes, and feeding the incredible cast and crew who are helping make this vision a reality.

Once completed, the film will be submitted to festivals and used as a key stepping stone in launching my professional career.
