Funding For The Gleaton Family

My name is Lisa Gleaton and I am raising funds for my family of four to help with expenses during my husband Nicola's cancer treatment and surgery. Nicola was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer December 2021 and spend all of 2022 undergoing aggressive chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments. Also, during that time, he was hospitalized twice and had two separate stent placements. Thankfully and miraculously, he was able to continue working although it left him extremely exhausted. This year, we learned that surgery was an option and he will be undergoing this surgery Monday, June 12. It is expected that he will be in the hospital for five days and out of work for a month or a little longer. He will need 24/7 care at home during this recovery period and will exhaust all of his sick and vacation time. He is not a salaried employee, therefore, if he does not clock in, he does not earn a paycheck. As I am a stay at home mom, I also don't earn income.

We will be using any funds for monthly bills, expenses such as gas and groceries and any additional medical care needs and expenses.
