Funding for Lawyer Firm

Voluntary contribution to fund legal support for the layoffs process in ES.

Every Googler's contribution is crucial in these uncertain times. Having legal representation at this moment will contribute towards a positive outcome.

We aim to achieve 9.075 € to fund this legal support for this layoffs process, including:

1. Consultation throughout the negotiation process with the company, both in terms of requests and benchmarking with similar companies and at a strategic level.

2. Assistance to the committee of the entire process that is being carried out within the company.

3. Response to any questions that may arise from employees related to this process. They can be articulated through the committee, through a Q&A or through the formula that seems most convenient and can be operational for the entire group.

4. Organization of a video call in which the issues that concern the Googlers can be resolved live.

5. Preparation of a mandatory report on the objective dismissal procedure

6. Explanatory document on the objective dismissal procedure, including formal dismissal procedure, calculation formula, challenge, etc.

7. Resolution of doubts to those finally affected, which does not include the drafting and presentation of the conciliation claim with subsequent attendance at the conciliation act, but that they understand the process if they have doubts once they have been able to access the document initially prepared (referred to in point 6)

The amount collected on top of what’s required for the layoff process will be used to fund legal advice to the works council on a recurring basis for the rest of the activities and negotiations planned: equality plan, collective agreement, working hours, etc.
