Funding for FIRST Worlds Championship

We are Team F.I.R.E., a small non-profit, FIRST Robotics Team raising money to go to the FIRST Championship in Houston, TX  April 16-20.  

Your gracious donations will help with Transportation, Fuel,  Lodging, Food, Parts, and Giveaways.

The mission of FIRST is to inspire young people to become science and technology leaders and innovators, by engaging them in exciting, mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.

Team FIRE's mission is to provide (F)ar-reaching (I)nnovative (R)obotics (E)ducation (FIRE) throughout Anderson and the surrounding area of upstate South Carolina by supplying students opportunities to learn from hands-on experience in engineering and design basics and by developing leadership, business, public speaking, coaching, and communication skills. 

This is our second opportunity to participate at the First Robotics Worlds Championships.  In 2017 we were ranked 18 out of 67 and made it to the quarterfinals.  We look forward to improving our ranking this year.  In year's past we have won the Industrial Safety Awards as well as Imagery awards at regional competitions.
