Funding for fatal crash victim and injured wife
Donation protected
It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Alfred Manyang Keror Kuoc. On October 29th, 2021 Alfred, his wife- Sozan Mabor Gak Dut and four other passengers were involved in a tragic accident resulting in the fatality of one of the passengers. The collision involved three vehicles in Chatham Ontario, as Alfred was the only fatality. The remaining four passengers were sent to Chatham hospital with minor injuries. However, his wife Sozan was left in critical condition as she suffered a brain injury and was placed in a medically induced coma/ life support fighting for her life. Immediately she was transferred from Chatham hospital to Victoria hospital in London, Ontario. Luckily with the strength of God, on October 30th, Sozan began to regain consciousness and fight through the medically induced coma.
Alfred was a loving father, brother, uncle, devoted husband, and a good friend to many people he had encountered throughout his lifetime. He leaves behind his family of five, and will be joining his late daughter Nyriak Manyang Keror Kuoc. Survived wife- Sozan Mabor Gak Dut, his daughters- Adut, Thongdiar, Aluad and only son, Kuoc Manyang Keror Kuoc. Born on January 1st, 1968, in Rumbek, South Sudan, and moved to Canada in May 1998 for a better life for his family. Alfred earned multiple degrees graduating from Ain Shams University in Egypt, St. Clair College, St. Michaels, and the most recent one in June 2013 at the University of Windsor for the Bachelor’s of Arts program in Windsor, Ontario.
My family and I were not prepared for this tragic and unexpected incident, and I’m asking for the public’s help with any donations- which will be greatly appreciated to help cover the costs of Alfred’s homegoing and assist his family with all additional costs they will be encountering. My family appreciates all the support and love during this difficult time, as we will be entering this next step of our lives.
