There has been so much that has transpired since the day Jay had the stroke, brain bleed ,brain stem herniation and having become quadrapalegic.After the third day surviving which they told us he would die from the injury, Jays  then nurse told us it would be an uphill battle. A marathon! Jay has defied all odds from being on a ventilator to be being  paralyzed on the left side  everything they said he could not do he has defied . Jay turned 18 the therapies have slowed and now most of the care is left up to us couple with the  bills that have mounted.
