Funding for Building Blocks

Hello! Welcome to the fund-raiser page for Building Blocks, A short film about a young woman on the autism spectrum, following her obsession with Lego as she navigates the death of a family pet, her gender-questioning father, and works through relationships with her friends.

Building Blocks is helmed by the talented Si Quayle, who is writing and directing the film; we have a passionate crew behind this production, comprised of:

We are making this Swinburne short film as part of our Advanced Diploma of Film and TV. We are shooting in late September, but before we get to that, we've got to work on our budget. The money earned from this fund-raiser will go towards all aspects of the film, on and off-screen.

Our budget covers:

Art direction (costume design and props)

Location hire

Travel and petrol fees

Catering

Cast & crew expenses

Covid safe protocols (sanitiser and masks)
