Funding for Aron Jackson Sr.

On February 7th, 2023, my father unexpectedly suffered a massive stroke that altered his physical and mental well-being. After being discharged and re-admitted to the hospital, within the same week; he was experiencing severe chest pain. After numerous tests, doctors were able to conclude that 4 of his main arteries were 80-90% clogged and he needed coronary artery bypass surgery.

After a long stay at Lancaster General Hospital, February 26th was the day Aron underwent quadruple heart bypass surgery, which was a success. He spent the next couple of weeks in the hospital healing and working on his basic mobility. Aron's next hurdle was rehabilitation therapy where he would work to gain his independence back.

On March 4th, 2023, Aron was admitted to Lancaster Rehabilitation Center where he spent 14 days re-learning how to walk and perform his basic activities of daily living. After much faith and determination, Aron is able to walk again with assistance. He is now blessed to be home but is challenged with facing his new normal.

My father has always been a dependable, hard worker who spent most of his days employed at Pediatric Specialty Care in Lancaster. Unfortunately, he is now partially disabled and unable to return to work. I am organizing this fundraiser to help alleviate some of the financial burdens that my father is experiencing since he has not had a source of income since early February.
