On May 18 our beloved Alexander Braumandl took his life. He had suffered under a burden of childhood trauma inflicted by a paedophile. He was not able to tell anyone or get help. Friends and family remember his laugh, helpfulness and kindness, never imagining he guarded a dark secret. We hope that donations will cover the costs of services for Alex, a memorial in his name in Nelson, and at the location where he died. We would hope also to make a donation in his name to Search and Rescue and to a suicide prevention group. Thank-you.
