Hi my name is Tricia and my beautiful granddaughter Esmai has lived with me since she was 6 months old under a special guardianship order. Esmai is 8 and has severe complex disabilities. She has bilateral spacticity cerebral palsy, pharmoresistant severe complex epilepsy, dystonia , she is nil by mouth and tube fed and cannot sit or stand or hold things she also has profound and multiple learning disabilities. Despite this Esmai is the most beautiful and happy little girl . Our current home is unsuitable for her as she needs a bigger accessible bathroom and bedroom. We have been offered a property but the garden is going to require a lot of work to make is accessible for esmai its currently a mud pit . To make it truly accesible and sensory is going to cost a lot and we just don't have the money to afford it . Esmai requires 24/7 care and with the costs of moving we dont have any spare money . It's not something that can be provided for us . We hate to ask for help as her grandparents we have always tried to provide for her ourselves but we just don't have the means to do this . Being outside is esmais favourite thing to do so its so important for her to have this accesible space

We would welcome any support you can give. Any spare money would be used to help decorate and make sensory her new room and for a mobile hoist that can go into her wheelchair accessible for van as changing her is so difficult now when out and about
