Funding equipment for Coleg Cambria conservation in Romania

Students from Coleg Cambria on Animal Management courses will be setting off on a 10km hike around Moel Famau in order to raise money for their conservation trip to Romania in June 2025. The money raised will be split evenly amongst the group to provide funding to support the purchase of necessary kit such as hiking boots and waterproofs. During the trip the students will be partaking in field research in order to support the conservation efforts which are ongoing in the area. This involves camera identification and tracking of the animals in order to produce valuable data of the animals (bison, brown bears, wolves, lynx, and beavers).
