Hi, my name is Jess Nevins, and I'm fundraising for an operation for my cat Pan.

Pan was born with pectus excavatum, a deformity in which the sternum/rib cage doesn't grow normally. In Pan's case, his rib cage is bent inward and doesn't allow his lungs to expand correctly. Untreated, this will kill him. Fortunately, there's a procedure that will treat it completely. But the procedure is expensive--very much so. (X-rays, operation, splint and harness--it adds up quickly)

Pan's a very sweet boy. He's a rescue--my wife found him in a condemned house when he was ~8 weeks old and brought him home, and he's become a complete love-bug and lap cat. It would break our hearts to lose him.
