Hello, I'm Ash and I've been saving for a hot minute to start testosterone. A diagnosis of gender incongruence is required and unfortunately the one I obtained was from a specialist without the specific qualifications needed for the clinic I can afford. Looking at specialists with the correct qualifications has me worried as consultations sit between £500 and £600, which is what I have saved for the testosterone itself. So I'm in a pickle. I'm trying to do this without any financial support from my parents for personal reasons and as I'm an adult, I'm pursuing this on my own accord.

Other relevant details;

I am in fact 18 years of age, this process is now dependent on finances and waiting times alone and not age.

I am also saving for university that I have applied to attend in September, this also takes out of my paychecks from my part time job.

I have been out for 6 years socially, which although I don't believe time matters significantly, I know it eases peoples minds when potentially donating.

I have wanted to be on testosterone for 5 years now. Now this is in my own hands, I'm excited for what the future holds and I hope you can help me get there. Thank you.
