Fund Full-Spectrum Doula Services!
Hello everyone!
Over the past six months, Burning Bra Birth Services (a feminist, social justice-based doula practice) has taken off! I have gotten official city and state business licensing, trademarked the name, developed company business cards and forms, taken on new clients, and have completed various birthworker trainings.
With the start of the new year, I have been burning to complete more trainings to add to my resume and knowledge. However, with the tight purse strings that come with being a single mother, it has been virtually impossible to pay for these trainings and resources....
That's why I need your help!
With the money from this fundraiser, I will be able to:
-Complete ICTC Doula Training (I received a partial scholarship for this, but need help fulfilling the rest of my financial obligations)
-Midwifery Assistant Training at The Farm with Ina May Gaskin (Fall 2015)
-Revamp the company's website and logo (and be able to pay a fellow Woman of Color for her hard work)
-Afford childcare for when I am on-call for births
-Take on more pro-bono abortion and miscarriage clients
I also will be able to purchase necessary office materials needed to provide virtual doula services for QTPOC and disabled folx!
