Fundación Barrio La Planta Holiday Campaign

Fundación Proyecto Barrio La Planta (formerly known as Barrio Planta Project) needs your help to launch its Holiday Campaign and enroll 20 new students for the 2023 school year! Our enrollment is currently at 76 students, and we hope to enroll an additional 20 children with the success of this campaign. Fundación Proyecto Barrio La Planta, which has existed largely due to the monetary contributions of its sister organization, Barrio Planta Project International, has been left without financial support after Barrio Planta Project International's closure in July 2022. Since then, the teachers have continued to support their community voluntarily.

Now, Fundación Proyecto Barrio La Planta is announcing a new chapter under local Nicaraguan leadership! This fundraiser will allow the organization to provide daily classes free to the local children each week, Monday - Friday.

Since 2011, our organization has provided education to the children of San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua and surrounding communities. Including classes in English as a Second Language (ESL), the arts, music, sports, computer science, leadership, and entrepreneurship at NO COST.

Fundación Proyecto Barrio la Planta is established as a non-profit organization under initiative #20106675 in Nicaragua. Funds are being raised by Fundacion Proyecto Barrio La Planta’s International Development Manager, Meredith Merna, on behalf of the organization. 100% of funds will go to the Foundation.
