Hello loves, I am fundraising for a great opportunity for my daughter Zuriyah. As many of you know, she is an intelligent young lady who is serious about social and economic justice in the society in which we live. As a toddler, she was an accident-prone child, and I always knew that God's purpose for her life was much bigger than I could imagine, that she would change the world. I feel the presence of the Spirit guiding her and preparing her for that very purpose, and this opportunity is a door opening by the hands of the Father.

An honor student since preschool, as the youngest child of five, she has given herself to her family, community, church, and friends with a moral standard that is rare. She is currently on the Dean's list at Occidental College in Los Angeles, California, where she is majoring in Media Arts & Culture with a minor in Critical Theory and Social Justice. She has been offered the most amazing opportunity for an unpaid internship for Media & Communications in Cape Town, Africa, for two months where she will be participating in the production of a documentary. She will be working full-time toward her career aspirations of being a film director and telling Black stories to incite change in our world.
