Hello everyone. I am gutted that I even have to make this. I have tried so hard and contacted so many different people to have my fertility treatment funded and there is absolutely nothing out there to help me. I’ve spoken to charities & my hospital to help fund and unfortunately no luck.

September last year I was sent to a&e at 32 weeks pregnant which revealed a 12cm mass in my chest which was diagnosed as Primary Mediastinal Non Hodgkin Lymphoma. Treatment seemed very curable and promising at the time, but after 6 rounds of chemotherapy & 18 rounds of radiotherapy, I am potentially being sent for more chemo and a dreaded stem cell transplant.

As my cancer is so aggressive, there is a few tests everyone is trying to do to confirm this, but it is medically advised I freeze my eggs before any of this process starts and I cannot waste any time in doing so. I was called out the blue to start the egg freezing journey this week so that my cancer treatment can begin.

Unfortunately because I already have 1 child (who is 1 years old) the NHS or any charities are unable to fund for my egg freezing or my future IVF journey.

Most normal families have not got £10,000 just like that to fund egg freezing so quick like I need to do so I am asking for your help

Ive had my consultation and the fertility doctor says all in will be around £9-10K just to get my eggs / embryos in the freezer. Then a few more thousand in the future to actually go through with the IVF when I am cancer free.

I thank you all so much for encouraging me to set this up and that you all want to help and support me. It is such a shame this couldn’t of been funded for me☹️
