Hi, our name is Gris and Jade Garcia-Siler and we are fundraising for our 2-year-old kitty, Yogurt's life-saving surgery and vet bills. Yogurt experienced crystals in his urine and couldn't urinate. For cats, this is extremely painful and dangerous. After we noticed he was excessively grooming himself in that area and not eating his food, we knew something was wrong because he loves and longs for his meal times. We took him to the vet right away and I am so grateful we did, at the time we did because if we had waited any longer, we would have lost him. From there, they ran tests and x-rays and noticed the crystals. They also noticed his bladder was completely full and his urinary tract was completely clogged. I have never seen Yogurt so sad and in distress. They proceeded to give him emergency surgery to release all the urine from his bladder and help the urinary tract. Thankfully, the procedure went well and he's stable now. However, he needs to stay in the hospital for a few days so they can test his kidneys and make sure that there isn't any damage to his kidneys. (Please Pray that there isn't any damage as this can be life-threatening and lead to more surgeries and even more hospital bills to keep him alive). We are grateful that he is in stable condition however he is currently in emergency 24-hour vet care for his kidney tests, but unfortunately the vet bills have pilled up thus far and we cannot afford the full amount at this time.

Yogurt is the sweetest, cuddliest, softest kitty you'll know. And if you know us, you know we love our Yogurt and his brother, Pico, with our whole heart. He's never hurt anyone and just loves to play and be cuddled. He has the eyes of a little angel. Please Pray and help our little baby cat survive this situation. He's only 2 years old. He and Pico mean everything to us. They are the first pets that I, Gris, have ever had in my lifetime. He is the pet I always longed for.
