Fund Yaneisy's Student Missions Expenses

Hi, my name is Yaneisy I am a Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology and Spanish for Translation & Interpretation student at Andrews University. This year, I have decided to become a missionary in South Korea to preach and show Jesus to those who may not know much about him. I have always wanted to be a missionary since I was little because I understand the importance of the gospel and the message of Romans 10:14 which says, "But how can they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how can they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone to preach?". As of 2015, only 27.6% of South Koreans identified as Christian. However, this number has notably gone down since the pandemic; and Christianity itself has been in decline since 1989. The country faces a lot of secular problems such as alcoholism, and high suicide rates in their youth. In addition, many who seek Christ are instead deceived by cults that exploit their vulnerability and extort their money; giving people a negative impression of Christianity. There is also a strong culture of materialism and competition, even within the church. I hope to make a difference in the lives of these people by reflecting God's love and showing them that the peace and joy that comes from God is greater than any worldly possession or achievement. I plan to do so by serving in the SDA Language School from 2023-2024. In this school, I will be teaching English and providing bible studies for juniors and adults from the community. However, I need Your Support to make this happen. The money collected will be used for:
1.) Air-fare
2.) Insurance
3.) Training
4.) Visa Expenses
6.) Support in the Field (Including utilities and living necessities)
Jesus is coming soon, let's make sure "every nation, tribe, language and people" hear the good news! (Revelation 14:6). Thank you for allowing God to use what He has given you to bless others!
