Fund Workbooks for Dyslexic Students
Donation protected
Hello!
My name is Madison Hickman, and I am a dyslexic college student. I recently created a dyslexic strategy workbook for elementary-aged children. Research shows that early intervention is the best way to help children with dyslexia succeed long-term academically and that is what this workbook does. Having been able to go through early intervention tutoring and gain these skills, I want to be able to give more dyslexic children the opportunity to get the skills I was able to and be set up not just for there academic careers but for later in life. My hope is that this book will help children with dyslexia learn that it is not a hindrance, but a gift. Learning in a different way is not a problem but a way to bring new insight into different parts of life.
Since I am a college student, I do not have the funds to print this book. I want to be able to gift this workbook to parents and teachers, so they have access to the proper resources to help these children without having to break the bank on there own. Any and all donations are appreciated! Thank you!
