This year has been a banner year for William. His hard work and dedication have opened the door for two life-changing opportunities this summer, and we are hoping to raise funds to assist him for both of them!

William is passionate about both music and his call to ministry. This year, after lots of hard work, he was selected as a member of the Mississippi Lions Band. In July, this talented group will travel to Hong Kong and Hawaii to compete on the international stage. Mississippi has won this competition 38 times over the last 50 years, with several wins in the last few years. As you can imagine, the cost for such a competition is significant.

Before making Lions Band, William committed himself to a Holy Pilgrimage that will travel to Greece in early June. He and other members of the group will follow in the footsteps of the Apostle Paul, traveling to all of the major sites where he lived, worked, and preached throughout the country. We know that this pilgrimage will deepen his faith and his relationship with God. After high school, William plans to graduate from Ole Miss and then attend seminary at Sewanee, with the intention of being ordained a priest.

We are hoping to raise funds to assist him for both of these opportunities!
