FUND WATER WELLS AND OTHER AIDS FOR RURAL UGANDA

I am a 17-year-old high school junior in Texas. From July 1-15, 2025, my volunteer group and I will take a trip to Uganda to provide volunteer medical aid at local hospitals and clinics, build clean water wells, and give financial support to families in the rural areas of Uganda that lack in these categories. We are trying to raise at least $20,000 to fund these projects. Each person in our group has a personal goal of at least $500 to add to the funds, and this is part of mine. All the money raised from this GoFundMe’s donations will directly fund our projects, including:
- Build and/or repair water wells. ($3,500 to build)
- Donations to orphanages.
- Provide goats for families to grow their herds and incomes through the sale of milk, meat, and livestock. ($100)
- Provide 15 vaccinated chicks, feeder, training, and one month’s worth of chicken feed to create income, employment, and economic value to backyard poultry. ($100)
- Provide bicycles to individuals who lack transportation to allow easier commute to school, work, and health services. ($100)
- Fund patients to get cataract eye surgery, allowing them to complete their daily activities without difficulty seeing. ($200)
