Our son Tyler was recently nominated by his teacher for the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF) Pathways to STEM, an honor reserved for students who demonstrate exceptional maturity, academic excellence, and leadership potential at a young age. Tyler has worked incredibly hard to earn this recognition. He consistently puts in the effort, stays focused on his schoolwork, and has always made it a priority to keep his grades up. As a parent, seeing his dedication and hard work pay off in this way is deeply emotional and humbling. This program would allow him to attend an immersive summer experience at The University of Miami, where he will gain hands-on STEM experience, build confidence, and develop leadership and life skills that will stay with him forever. Unfortunately, the tuition for this program is beyond what our family can afford on our own.
