Fund Twins' Historical Performance Journey
Donation protected

Hi everyone! We’re Aaron and Boaz Mecham — 19-year-old twin brothers, lifelong musical partners, and proud recent graduates of SUNY Fredonia.
Growing up in Jamestown, NY, music has been our way of learning, connecting, giving, and expanding. We've performed as a duo since we started music — winning a concerto competition, 1st place in Chautauqua's Got Talent, performing as duo soloists with the Warren Philharmonic at 10 years old, premiering our original compositions, and sharing our music in concert halls, churches, living rooms, and everywhere in between.
This fall, we begin the next chapter of our journey:
Master’s degrees in Historical Performance at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music with Professor Edwin Huizinga!
We’ve both been accepted to study Baroque Violin in one of the most renowned early music programs in the world, with opportunities to also study harpsichord, fortepiano, and organ as secondary instruments.
After two rounds of merit aid appeals, we’ve each been awarded $58,000 in Conservatory Dean Scholarships twords our tuition.
And in regard to covering our food and housing, we are buying our own food and cooking it; and are renting an apartment as affordable possible!!!
Even with this generous aid and our ceaseless efforts, we face the tuition gap for the next 3 semesters of the masters program:
$5,000 per semester per student
➡️ That’s $30,000 for both of us for the next two school years (2025-2027)
If you know us or if our story inspires you, please consider contributing to this next step. Every donation, share, and kind word brings us closer.
