Hi Friends, Family, And Compassionate Souls,

I Wanted To Share An Important Update About My Beloved Dog, Tree Trunks.

This Fundraiser Was Originally Created Over Six Months Ago When Tree Trunks Was Diagnosed With Severe Glaucoma And We Were Preparing For The Possibility Of Emergency Eye Removal Surgery. At The Time, We Truly Didn’t Expect Her To Still Be With Us — But She Is, And We Are Grateful For Every Single Day We Have With Her.

Tree Trunks Is Still Battling Glaucoma And Remains On Ongoing Medical Management. She Currently Requires:

Daily Prescription Eye Drops

Gabapentin 50mg, Three Times Daily For Pain Management

These Medications Are Lifelong And Continue To Be A Significant Financial Burden For Us. While Surgery Has Not Yet Been Performed, Her Condition Is Progressive, And Our Focus Has Shifted To Comfort, Pain Control, And Quality Of Life.

Going Forward, Any Funds Raised Will Be Used For:

Ongoing Prescription Medications And Eye Drops

Pain Management And Veterinary Follow-Ups

Mobility And Safety Aids (Such As A Halo To Help Her Navigate Without Bumping Into Things)

General Medical Care For Tree Trunks And Our Other Dogs, Who Also Have Ongoing Health Needs

We Are Doing Everything We Can To Keep Tree Trunks Comfortable, Safe, And Surrounded By Love. She Is Gentle, Loyal, And Strong — And Even Though Her World Looks Different Now, She Still Enjoys Being With Her Family.

If Her Condition Declines And End-Of-Life Care Becomes Necessary, Any Remaining Funds Will Go Toward Cremation And Final Arrangements, Which Currently Start Around $1,500.

We Never Expected To Be Here Six Months Later — But We’re Thankful We Are. Every Donation, Share, And Kind Word Helps Us Give Tree Trunks The Comfort And Dignity She Deserves For As Long As She’s With Us.
