Hello! My name is Christie Chiles Twillie. My original musical, "The Girl Who Sang With The Moon," is a recipient of the Department of Cultural Affairs and Event (DCASE) City of Chicago Grant for the Development of New Plays & Musicals. A staged reading of the musical will take place at The Chicago Cultural Center on February 14 and 15, 2026.

I am raising funds to cover the housing and airfare for the show's Director and three Principal Actors who live out-of-town. The grant provided by DCASE graciously covers fees for two weeks of rehearsals for a total of 35 hours, plus Producer, Lead Dramatist, Music Director, and Actor Artists fees as well as two public performances that are free to the public.

With your help, the funds generated through the go fund me will cover what otherwise would be my personal out- of-pocket expenses for airfare/travel expenses plus accommodations from January 31- Feburary 16th.
