Fund Transition For Lola, Indigenous Trans Artist
Donation protected
Lola Jean Darling is an Indigenous Trans Artist. She is an incredibly talented musician, visual artist, teacher, and culture bearer. Lola teaches visual art and Choctaw history to kindergarten through sixth-grade students throughout New Orleans and on donation-based tours to all. We live on her ancestral Choctaw Land of Bulbancha (New Orleans) and should be supportive of her life and health.
Trans women have a life expectancy of 30 years because of systematic violence. Lola is a gem and gives so much to the world around her. We must give back to her and allow her to access life and identity-affirming surgery so that she can continue to grow and foster everyone around her.
