Intimacy on stage and screen-- you've seen it. Hopefully it was introduced in the healthiest way possible...and not placing the actors in a place of harm, discomfort, or danger. But in this day, professional coordination and choreography is an ESSENTIAL need for film/tv and stage work. And Columbus is a market that needs more Coordinators.

As an acting coach/director/actor, I want to ensure that the work I'm a part of is healthy and safe. The best next step for me is to get my national certification through Intimacy Coordinators and Directors, a globally-recognized organization that trains people like me to work through a safe scene of any physical contact between actors.

My goal?

Attend the eight-day program run through ICD with a five day training/certification, ending in a three-day workshop in Minneapolis, MN in April 2025. At the end of this, I hope to leave with my national certification to work on both stage and screen to create and develop with directors for the best possible scenes that display stage/screen intimacy for actors in Central Ohio and beyond.

Here's the ask..

The conference and certification is pricey, and I just cannot do it on my own:

Conference/Training April 2025~ $6000

(Travel- Covered thanks to Southwest points)

Hotel ~ 1600

Food~ 400

So, total of $8000 will be what it takes to make this happen in 2025.

When it does, I'll be registered and available to hire for Coordination for TV/Film/Commercial/Stage work. THIS IS A NEEDED ADDITION TO ALL OF THESE FIELDS.

If funds are not reached by Feb. 28, 2025, they will be sent back to you. I don't want to take funds that are not mine.

But I am dreaming big here, and asking for help to reach the clear next step in my own journey.
