Hold Your Loved Ones Close: Help Nate Weiss
Donation protected
On Thursday, March 7th, Nate Weiss (son of our dear Jodie Weiss) was in a horrific motorcycle accident as a result of a car making a left turn in front of him. The crash left Nate with extensive injuries including two shattered wrists, a femur that was broken in three places, two broken bones in his neck, and multiple deep wounds that may need skin grafting. He spent 11 hours in surgery where they did a partial reconstruction of his wrists, put a titanium rod in his leg to connect and stabilize the three breaks in his femur, and cleaned out, irrigated, and sutured all of his external wounds. Nate faces more surgeries ahead as well as a lengthy rehab and recovery period.
THANKFULLY Nate was wearing all of his safety gear: a helmet, a riding jacket, gloves, and riding boots which surely saved his life.
The trauma team and police officers all said that it's a miracle that Nate wasn't killed as a result of this crash.
Nate is the sole provider for his family of four and is facing a 4-6 month recovery period without income. We humbly ask you to help Nate and his family by donating what you can and sharing this with others.
