Fund Timber Lane Library and STEAM Courtyard

Thank you for supporting Timber Lane Elementary School. We are a Title 1 School in Falls Church, Virginia and are asking our community and neighbors to help the PTA raise funding for the school Library and student STEAM Courtyard.

What does it mean to be a Title 1 School? Title 1 is a federal education program that supports low-income students. Over 50% of students who attend Timber Lane Elementary school qualify for free and reduced lunch.

The Timber Lane PTA plays an important role in helping support teachers, students, and the families the school serves. This year we’re trying to raise $3,000 to invest in the school library and student STEAM Courtyard.

$2,000 will be used to fund new library books and provide book fair vouchers to students in need. The Timber Lane PTA is committed to providing every student, regardless of their circumstance, the ability to participate in this fun and educational opportunity. Your donation will help ensure that every student can fully engage in this event.

$1,000 will also support the maintenance of our student STEAM Courtyard. This new outdoor learning space is a special place where students can engage in science by growing vegetables, observing nature, and learning about the environment.
