Fund Tiffany's Med School Fees, in Elliot's Honor
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Kalisa Martin. I’m an entrepreneur with roots in Jamaica. While living on the island and running my business, I got to know and become great friends with the Williams family. Because GoFundMe is not supported in Jamaica, I have created this campaign on their behalf and all donations will be going directly to the family via their cousin, Faithlyn Reid.
Husband and wife, Paul and Juliet Williams, are amazing business people and their partnership with our enterprise was essential to our success. We also had the pleasure of getting to know their two children, Elliot and Tiffany. The entire Williams family is beloved by their community in their hometown of Browns Town, St. Ann Jamaica, as well as by friends and family around the world.
We were all devastated when, in February 2018, after over two months in the ICU fighting for his life, Elliot Williams tragically passed away due to injuries from a car accident. Elliot had just graduated from University, was working a great job, and had vowed to help his sister Tiffany with her own educational expenses.
Fast forward: Tiffany has been accepted to Texila American University’s Doctor of Medicine program. While she has received a partial academic scholarship, the fees above what the scholarship covers total $55,300 for the full 5.5 year program.
Though Paul and Juliet are hardworking and will be giving their all to support Tiffany’s goal to become a physician, their financial resources were depleted when they both took off from work during Elliot’s hospitalization. They are prepared to finance her room and board at Texila, however, with their savings gone, and without the financial support that Elliot would have provided, it will be near impossible for the family to afford Tiffany’s remaining tuition costs.
Our initial goal of $20,500 is based on the tuition costs for the first two years. (See below.)
When there is great tragedy, such as Elliot’s untimely passing, we on the outside often feel helpless. In this situation, there IS something we can do. WE CAN FULFILL ELLIOT'S PROMISE TO HIS SISTER BY HELPING TO FUND TIFFANY'S HIGHER EDUCATION.
Thank you for your consideration in helping this amazing, smart, resilient young woman! And please help us spread the word by sharing this page!!

ABOUT TIFFANY + HER SCHOOLING:
Tiffany graduated from the St. Hilda’s High School in July 2018, passing 8 CSEC* subjects with 3 distinctions, and is currently a CAPE** student at York Castle School in Brown’s Town. Education is very important to Tiffany, and though Elliot’s untimely death occurred as she was preparing for finals, she persevered and graduated with honors.
From a young age, Tiffany has always expressed her desire to become a medical doctor and it was evident in the way she cared for others and her pets. She’s had the opportunity to volunteer with medical missions at the Alexandria hospital with teams of medical personnel from home and abroad. Those experiences have confirmed and cultivated her passion for medicine. She’s such a natural, that she’s often referred to as Dr. Williams and loves every minute of it.
With the competitive 5.5 year program that Tiffany has been accepted, she will be able to build a career in medicine and work towards attaining her MD immediately after graduating CAPE.
*Caribbean secondary education certificate (CSEC) examinations are used to assess and certify a student's academic achievement after five years of secondary school.
**Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) is designed to provide certification of the academic, vocational and technical achievement of students in the Caribbean who, having completed a minimum of five years of secondary education, wish to further their studies.

TIFFANY AND ELLIOT'S BOND:
Elliot and his sister were very close. He was the best older brother a girl could ask for and her favorite person in the entire world. Throughout the school years, he was very supportive and protective of his sister. They had a very special bond. Having had his college education paid for by his parents without the help of a scholarship, he vowed to help his sister with hers. He had promised her room and board, financial assistance, and moral support. Growing up, Tiffany always looked up to Elliot and there’s no doubt he would have been the greatest mentor for her in her college years and beyond.
