Hey, it’s Tiarra!

As many of you know, I recently turned 30, and with this milestone, I’m taking a leap of faith into the next chapter of my career. For years, I’ve worked in television production, bringing other people’s ideas to life—but now, it’s time to develop my own.

I’m currently developing a television concept that explores the stories of Black Americans who have built new lives abroad. This project is deeply personal to me, and I’ve been invited to Mexico to connect with the expat community—an opportunity that will be pivotal for my research and production.

This is a self-funded project, and truthfully, independent creative work comes with its challenges. Covering travel, equipment rentals, and production costs is a heavy lift, but I know this story is worth telling. If you believe in this vision, any contribution would mean the world to me.
