Fund "The Vessel," The Story of Rodney Smith Jr.

My name is Brendan Garvey, and I have been closely following Rodney Smith Jr.'s rise to stardom from afar for years. Early in 2023, I realized I could use my skillset as a documentary filmmaker to tell his incredible story and show the world the great things the kids participating in his organization are doing for their communities. At 4,353 kids across the world mowing, Rodney's "Raising Men Lawn Care Service" is already a force to be reckoned with. After this film, however, I feel Rodney's organization can become one of the most well-known in the world. This is where I need your help. By pouring all of my available resources into this 3.5-minute trailer, I've pushed all my chips to the center. I have learned from my time with Rodney and Raising Men Lawn Care Service that the world is a better place than I thought, and I trust this film will find its funding. By donating to the production of this film, you will be giving me and a small film crew the chance to travel the country, telling the story of some of the most incredible kids in the world, dedicated to making their communities a better place, as well as the story of one of the most charitable and committed people I have ever met in Rodney Smith Jr. All donors will be credited in the film, and play an integral role in making the world a better, happier, more community-oriented place. Please enjoy what I have documented so far on my journey with Rodney and Raising Men Lawn Care Service, and I hope to make a film that gives you hope for the world's up-and-coming generation.

3 Crew Members' Flights to Huntsville, Alabama, the home of Rodney Smith Jr., and epicenter of Raising Men Lawn Care Service

Rental Car for a week

Housing

The rates of 2 Crew Members (As the director, I will NOT be getting paid or profiting off of this film)

Meals for crew

Post-Production expenses such as sound mixing and animation

ALL unused funds will be donated back to 501-C3 non-profit Raising Men Lawn Care Service.
