Fund the Restoration Decade Alliance

Australia’s ecosystems are in real trouble, and we need to act together to reverse the trend and save our unique animals, plants, waterways, and landscapes.

The Restoration Decade Alliance (the RDA; the Alliance) has been established by the major restoration organisations in Australia in response to the United Nations’ call to action to ‘prevent, halt and reverse the degradation of ecosystems on every continent and in every ocean’.

Despite our status as an official Supporting Partner of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, and our increasing recognition as an expert body on ecosystem restoration issues Australia-wide, with submissions to and advice sought by various levels of government ... we require substantial sponsorship to help us optimise the restorative efforts of all Australians across the Decade.

Our goals are ambitious, and ecosystem restoration in Australia is underfunded. We are therefore reaching out to all environmentally aware individuals and organisations to ask you to make whatever contribution you can to help us realise our vision of healthy and resilient Australian ecosystems.
