Fund the Recording of My First EP

“In daring to dream, there is defiance to live beyond your circumstances.”

It is an aspect of the human condition to search for purpose and meaning in all we do. A journey that can cause even the most peaceful mind to worry if the path of fulfillment is unclear. I feel lucky that my path was paved in gold in all the obstacles and adversities I have faced. So bright you can’t possibly ignore or deny its existence, beauty, and valor. Even in my darkest times, it calls to me like a northern star that I am meant to create. To express the emotions and words left unspoken by those who are not as fortunate to see the light. I fight for my dreams so that I can reach the highest mountain to shout to the world that there is solace to bring, that we should not feel ashamed of what makes us feel alive, that we were meant to live unabashed and work towards fixing our wounds so that we may heal those around us. “Healed people, heal people.”

Those closest to me know that I have been singing my whole life (since I spoke my very first words, and then never shut up). You’ve watched me play the ukulele at family barbeques, jump on stage with my first band, or maybe even met me in passing during an Open Mic Night. Regardless of the circumstance, you know that the proof is in the pudding. It’s funny to me that after all these years I never took the leap to make something of my art, other than a way to express my cries for help (adulting is hard lol); However this time was different.

Post-pandemic, it has been a little over 2 years since I'd been on a “real stage”. Like every other time in my life, when circumstances were low, music started to call to my soul again. I had been sitting on a whole EP worth of songs the entire time, and knew that even if nothing were to come of it, I needed to see the project through. You never know what opportunities can come when you put effort into your dreams. I reached out to some good friends and musicians that I had met over the years asking to help bring it to life. For months we’ve practiced, auditioning musician after musician, until finally we found the missing piece.

With Evan on Bass, Matty on Lead Guitar, and Levi on Drums, we are now a vehicle for success to bring this EP to fruition. Many of you have asked how you can help, so I am humbly asking for your support. Please lend us the resources to make this happen!
