Fund the Mickyas Maru Scholarship

Hello, I am Melate Maru, sister of Mickyas Maru, and a few of Mickyas' close friends alongside myself have come together to begin a scholarship in Micky's honour. My brother was most known in his community for his passion for soccer and his compassion on and off the field. In light of his love for the game and his academic perseverance, we decided to put together a scholarship in conjunction with the staff at Seaquam Secondary, the high school Micky attended, to present a financial reward through sports and education to a student who demonstrates the same humble yet hard working persona that my brother did.
