The Mad Descent is a short film that is being driven by two 18 year old filmmakers Phelan Gilmore and Jake Payne. They are both incredibly enthusiastic about the journey of making the short and can't wait to begin filming in October and they'd love some help from the world to make this short film a reality! What is The Mad Descent?

The year is 1901. The Amberley submarine is setting off on its maiden voyage from Kingston, Norfolk Island. On its journey deeper into the Pacific, the vessel’s captain notices something at the bottom of the ocean. A sight so incomprehensible, he is driven mad and plagued by visions. While he tries to remain strong in his duties aboard the submarine, his condition worsens and he becomes a threat the guest on board.
