In the name of the families Tshibuabua, Evele and Endundo, I am making this Gofundme for the Funeral of Nita Evele who passed away on September 16th, 2021.
In 2008, she started working with Dr Denis Mukwege as the Chair of the Board of Directors of Panzi USA Foundation.
Before Panzi, she was active in "Friends of Congo", which helped fund the Panzi Foundation's first Legal Clinic, which helps survivors of sexual violence free of charge to file complaints against their perpetrators. She supported civic movements like La Lucha or Filimbi.
She will always be loved and missed by our family and community.
