Fund the Final Touches for BOAT DAY

Cusp of Rebirth Productions is raising $5,000 in finishing funds for our 2024-2025 time-travel fantasy romance BOAT DAY!

If this is your first time hearing about Cusp of Rebirth Productions, we are an emerging production company founded by Ilia Isorelys Paulino, Logan Ellis, and Donato Fatuesi in 2023. Cusp of Rebirth Productions was created as a space for us to learn and grow as filmmakers.

You may have already seen our web series, Friendship Therapy on the interwebs. In 2023 we produced our first short film project, Face Me, that is now being submitted to film festivals, and we’ve continued to challenge ourselves with the scale and development of BOAT DAY - our biggest project yet!

What’s BOAT DAY about you ask?

In BOAT DAY, Lucrecia (Ilia Isorelys Paulino) has just moved to Seattle to work for a tech startup, and she already doesn't fit in with the company culture. At a mandatory boating and bonding event on Lake Union, Lucrecia's co-workers initiate her with a push into the water and she magically travels into the city's past.

This indie short was shot and edited in the fall of 2024 and we need help getting across the finish line with strong sound mixing, color balancing, music licenses, and festival submissions.

This project is a Micro-Budget Short Film made on community, friendships, passion, and so far $10,000.
