My name is Osagie Ekenezar, and I've always had a deep passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace. I've always seen the lack of diversity in the companies I'd had worked for and wanted to make a change. I decided to start my own DEI staffing firm, one that would connect companies with talented and qualified candidates from underrepresented groups. I am the CEO and founder of the Ekeo Group, the DEI staffing firm with a specialization in making companies as representative as the communities they serve. I humbly request $25,000 as start up capital to help fund some basic business functions need.

Making companies as diverse as possible is important to me, because its nuance and differences in opinion that sometimes create innovation. I believe its our civic duty promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in any format because it fosters tough conversation, dialogue that needs to be had in order to push our communities forward.

The money will be used to fund basic business functions and tools that will propel us to the green.
