My name is Lara, & I’ve put together this GoFundMe for our dearest friend, brother, son, uncle, husband, dog-dad, & former Supermanager, Hoang N. <3

Some of you are already aware that he is set to get top surgery in January, & that he’s been diligently working all year to pay for this little bit of embodied freedom & peace.

Sadly, he has been laid off very suddenly, which means the loss of his only funding source; the several thousand dollars he was promised before he decided to book the surgery. Now he’s facing the painful possibility of having to cancel indefinitely.

For months, he has been excitedly planning his life around the time he’d need to take off post-opp, & all the outfits he’s gonna flex in once he’s healed, & y’all—the gender euphoria is beautiful on this guy. ⚧️

I’m crushed for him at this massive setback, & I know that anyone who’s had the great fortune of getting close to Hoang wants to see him live authentically, joyfully, & freely.

Every dollar you contribute (minus GFM & card processing fees) will go towards his surgery fund & getting him that much closer to the chest he deserves, that so many of us have leaned on during hard moments.

We’re going all in for $8K so he can stay on track for the scheduled surgery date—LET’S DO THIS!!
